Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and products for damage or discrepancies.
- Verify quantities against purchase orders, packing lists, and other shipping documents.
- Accurately record incoming inventory data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Label and organize received items, ensuring proper storage and easy retrieval.
- Operate basic material handling equipment safely, such as pallet jacks (training provided).
- Report any damaged goods, shortages, or overages to the appropriate supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents and labels.
- Basic computer literacy (data entry).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
