Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead engineers with studio setup and tear-down for recording sessions, including microphone placement and cable management.
- Organize, maintain, and inventory audio equipment, microphones, cables, and accessories.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of studio hardware and software under supervision.
- Ensure the studio environment is clean, organized, and ready for use at all times.
- Support in signal flow verification and basic equipment testing before sessions.
- Assist with session documentation, including tracking sheets, patch notes, and metadata entry.
- Actively learn and apply fundamental audio principles, recording techniques, and studio best practices.
- Provide general administrative and logistical support to the production team as needed.
Required Skills
- Demonstrable passion for audio recording and music production.
- Basic understanding of audio concepts (e.g., analog/digital, microphone types, signal flow).
