Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead engineers with studio setup and tear-down for recording sessions, including microphone placement and cable management.
  • Organize, maintain, and inventory audio equipment, microphones, cables, and accessories.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of studio hardware and software under supervision.
  • Ensure the studio environment is clean, organized, and ready for use at all times.
  • Support in signal flow verification and basic equipment testing before sessions.
  • Assist with session documentation, including tracking sheets, patch notes, and metadata entry.
  • Actively learn and apply fundamental audio principles, recording techniques, and studio best practices.
  • Provide general administrative and logistical support to the production team as needed.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrable passion for audio recording and music production.
  • Basic understanding of audio concepts (e.g., analog/digital, microphone types, signal flow).
