Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain audio recording equipment, including DAWs, consoles, and microphones.
  • Set up microphones and monitor levels for optimal audio quality during sessions.
  • Record, edit, mix, and master audio tracks to industry standards.
  • Collaborate with artists and producers to achieve their sonic vision.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and software efficiently.
  • Maintain organized project files, backups, and archives.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Recording Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live).
  • Strong understanding of acoustics, signal flow, and microphone techniques.
  • Demonstrable experience in mixing and mastering audio professionally.
  • Excellent ear training and critical listening skills.
