Are you an enthusiastic individual with a deep passion for music and sound, eager to kickstart your career in the recording industry? Career.zycto is thrilled to partner with a thriving local studio in Saskatoon, seeking a dedicated and proactive Entry-Level Recording Studio Assistant to join their creative team. This is an incredible opportunity for someone looking to gain foundational experience in a professional studio environment, working alongside experienced audio engineers and producers.
In this multifaceted role, you will be the backbone of daily studio operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly for artists and engineers alike. You’ll be involved in the preparation and breakdown of studio sessions, including setting up microphones, instruments, and monitoring equipment. Beyond the technical setup, your keen eye for organization and detail will be crucial in maintaining a tidy and functional workspace, managing inventory of studio supplies, and assisting with general administrative tasks that keep the studio humming.
This position offers more than just a job; it’s a mentorship opportunity. You’ll observe recording, mixing, and mastering sessions, absorbing invaluable knowledge about signal flow, microphone techniques, software operation, and professional studio etiquette. We are looking for a quick learner, someone who isn’t afraid to ask questions, and who possesses a genuine desire to master the craft of audio production. While direct studio experience isn’t required, a demonstrable interest in music technology, basic understanding of audio concepts, or experience with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) like Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live would be a significant asset.
If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, contribute to exciting musical projects, and grow your skills in a fast-paced, inspiring setting, this is your chance. Join a team where your passion for sound will be cultivated, and your career trajectory in the music industry will begin. We value reliability, a positive attitude, and an unwavering commitment to supporting creative excellence. This is where your journey from music enthusiast to audio professional truly begins.
