Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychological, and social needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
- Administer medications safely and accurately, adhering to national and local guidelines.
- Perform various clinical procedures, including wound care, vital sign monitoring, and venepuncture.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to GDPR.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Adhere strictly to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Conduct and professional standards.
- Participate in ward rounds, team meetings, and contribute to continuous service improvement.
Required Skills
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) UK or eligibility for NMC registration.
- A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans.
- Proficiency in medication administration and various clinical procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Qualifications
