Holt CAT is seeking a dynamic Remote Account Executive to join our expanding team, serving vital industries across Texas from your home office. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing a portfolio of existing key accounts, and promoting Holt CAT’s extensive range of heavy equipment, power systems, parts, and services. You will act as a trusted advisor to our clients, understanding their operational challenges and providing tailored solutions that leverage Caterpillar’s world-class products and Holt CAT’s unparalleled support. As a Remote Account Executive, you will operate with significant autonomy, requiring strong self-management and organizational skills. You will utilize cutting-edge CRM tools to track customer interactions, manage your sales pipeline, and forecast revenue. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share within an assigned territory.
  • Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold outreach.
  • Manage and grow relationships with a portfolio of existing key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments for clients and propose tailored solutions involving heavy equipment, power systems, parts, and services.
  • Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, quotes, and product demonstrations to prospective and existing clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales, consistently striving for win-win outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline forecasts in CRM software.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including service, parts, and finance, to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to effectively position Holt CAT's offerings.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and training sessions as required.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of successful experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in heavy equipment, industrial sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand complex customer needs.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly within an assigned territory in Texas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience selling Caterpillar or other heavy equipment brands.
  • Familiarity with the construction, agriculture, energy, or governmental sectors in Texas.
  • Experience with strategic account planning and complex sales cycles.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
