Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Resort Cleaner to join our vibrant team in Portishead, Bristol. Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards and procedures.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and polish surfaces, ensuring all areas are immaculate and free from dirt and debris.
- Replenish guest room supplies, including linens, towels, and toiletries, as required.
- Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, corridors, lounges, and dining spaces.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and sorting linens and towels.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards immediately to the appropriate supervisor.
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping and wider resort team to ensure operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks and special projects as directed by management.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a cleaning, housekeeping, or hospitality role.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).
