Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Resort Golf Cart Driver to join our dedicated team immediately. This pivotal role involves much more than just driving; you will be a key ambassador for Sea Cliff Resort & Spa, responsible for providing safe, efficient, and welcoming transportation services for our guests across the expansive resort grounds. You will assist guests with luggage, navigate scenic pathways, and ensure a smooth and pleasant experience from arrival to departure, and throughout their stay. This role demands a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, excellent communication skills, and an unwavering adherence to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and courteously transport guests and their luggage to various locations within the resort using golf carts.
- Assist guests with boarding and disembarking the golf cart, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Provide accurate and helpful information about resort amenities, activities, and local attractions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good operating condition of golf carts, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards regarding the golf carts or resort pathways immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, resort policies, and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and inquiries.
- Collaborate effectively with other resort departments to ensure seamless guest services.
Required Skills
- Valid Tanzanian driving license (Class D or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience with a clean driving record.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbal and written).
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Physical stamina to assist with luggage and navigate resort terrain.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or resort environment.
- Familiarity with the Mangapwani and Zanzibar North area.
- Ability to communicate in Swahili.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor golf cart issues.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
