Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the lodge's point-of-sale system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously, ensuring timely delivery.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area, kitchen, and service stations.
- Assist with basic food preparation, such as cutting vegetables, setting up buffet lines, or preparing non-alcoholic beverages.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately, process transactions, and provide correct change.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations, as well as food hygiene standards, are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory of restaurant supplies and report needs to management.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any dining-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Perform opening and closing duties for the restaurant, including setting up and breaking down tables and chairs.
