Career.zycto is searching for a highly creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our growing team in Malindi. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.).
- Create, curate, and manage engaging and relevant content, including text, images, videos, and infographics, to attract and retain followers.
- Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a 'social' way while cultivating leads and sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing and HR teams to align social media content with overall company goals and campaigns.
- Measure and report on the performance of social media campaigns using relevant metrics and tools, providing actionable insights.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
- Conduct competitive research and analyze market trends to identify new opportunities.
Required Skills
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role (minimum 2 years).
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and other relevant social media platforms.
- Hands-on experience in content creation, community management, and social media analytics.
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
- Solid understanding of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with web design and publishing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) for basic content creation.
- Knowledge of local Malindi market trends and cultural nuances.
