Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain professional audio recording, mixing, and mastering equipment.
  • Set up microphones, monitor systems, and other audio gear for recording sessions.
  • Record, edit, mix, and master audio content for various projects (music, podcasts, voiceovers, video productions).
  • Collaborate closely with producers, artists, and directors to achieve desired sonic outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with audio equipment and software promptly.
  • Implement sound design elements and foley effects as required.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards for all audio deliverables.
  • Perform basic maintenance and calibration of studio equipment.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in audio engineering.
  • Manage and organize audio assets and project files efficiently.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, Ableton Live, Cubase).
  • Strong understanding of acoustics, psychoacoustics, and signal processing.
  • Expertise in microphone techniques, recording practices, and studio setup.
  • Demonstrable skills in audio editing, mixing, and mastering.
  • Familiarity with various audio plugins (EQ, compression, reverb, delay).
  • Excellent ear training and critical listening skills.

Preferred Qualifications
