Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of audio equipment and software.
- Record, mix, and master audio for various productions including music, podcasts, and film.
- Set up, calibrate, and tear down sound systems for live events and studio sessions.
- Collaborate closely with producers, artists, directors, and other creative team members.
- Perform sound design and create immersive auditory experiences.
- Ensure high-quality audio output that meets project specifications and industry standards.
- Manage and organize sound libraries, archives, and project files.
- Stay updated with new audio technologies, trends, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency with industry-standard Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or Ableton Live.
- Strong understanding of acoustics, signal flow, and audio engineering principles.
- Extensive experience with various types of microphones, preamps, and recording techniques.
- Demonstrable expertise in audio mixing and mastering processes.
- Experience in live sound engineering, including front-of-house (FOH) and monitor mixing.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for audio hardware and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a critical ear for sound quality.
Preferred Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or a related field.
