Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers with the setup, calibration, and strike of audio recording equipment (microphones, consoles, cables).
- Perform comprehensive cable management and maintain an organized, clean, and safe studio environment.
- Support live recording sessions by monitoring audio levels and assisting with microphone placement.
- Conduct routine inspection and basic maintenance of studio gear, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
- Accurately log session details, track take numbers, and assist with file management.
- Adhere strictly to all studio policies, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
- Proactively seek learning opportunities and contribute to team innovation.
Required Skills
- Genuine passion and enthusiasm for audio recording, music production, or sound design.
- Basic understanding or familiarity with common audio equipment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.

- Physical capability to lift, move equipment (up to 25 lbs) and stand for extended periods.

- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a diploma/degree in Audio Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools or Logic Pro X.
- Prior experience (voluntary or personal project-based) in a recording studio or live sound.
- Basic knowledge of audio signal flow and troubleshooting.
