Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products, providing information and recommendations as needed.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash and card payments.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing store environment, including shelving, displays, and common areas.
  • Receive, unpack, and organise new stock deliveries, ensuring merchandise is correctly priced and displayed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock counts, reporting any discrepancies or low stock items.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to management.
  • Contribute to a positive team atmosphere by collaborating with colleagues and supporting store goals.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and counting change
