Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead our comprehensive supply chain operations from our Anders, Red Deer facility. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement robust supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
  • Oversee procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure optimal terms and service levels.
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and forecast demand accurately.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in supply chain processes, cost reduction, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Manage and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and finance departments to integrate supply chain activities.
  • Implement and manage supply chain technology solutions, including ERP and WMS systems.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, quality issues, and unforeseen challenges.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar senior role.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in supply chain software.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, SCMP) is a significant asset.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) specifically related to SCM modules.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry.
  • Strong understanding of international logistics and trade compliance.
