Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking a passionate and driven Talent Scout to join our growing team on a flexible, part-time basis. In this remote role, you will be instrumental in expanding our candidate pipeline, utilizing innovative sourcing strategies to unearth professionals who align perfectly with our clients’ unique needs and our company’s values.

As a Talent Scout, you will be the initial point of contact for potential candidates, representing Career.zycto with professionalism and enthusiasm. Your day will involve leveraging various platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, industry events (virtual or local as appropriate), and advanced search techniques to pinpoint passive and active job seekers. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for talent, an innate curiosity, and the ability to articulate compelling reasons why Career.zycto and our clients offer exceptional career paths.

This position demands excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be crafting engaging outreach messages, conducting preliminary screenings, and building rapport from the very first interaction. You’ll work closely with our Senior Recruiters and Account Managers, providing a steady stream of qualified candidates and market intelligence. Your insights will directly contribute to our strategic talent acquisition efforts, helping our clients build stronger, more effective teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, source, and engage passive and active candidates using a variety of channels (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, boolean search).
  • Conduct initial outreach and compellingly articulate the value proposition of opportunities to potential candidates.
  • Perform preliminary screening calls to assess candidate qualifications, motivations, and cultural fit for specific roles.
  • Maintain and update candidate pipelines and the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with detailed notes and statuses.
  • Collaborate closely with Senior Recruiters and Hiring Managers to understand specific role requirements and target candidate profiles.
  • Provide market insights and intelligence on talent availability, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential candidates, acting as a positive brand ambassador for Career.zycto.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of sourcing strategies, tools, and recruitment processes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruitment, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to utilize various sourcing tools and techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, boolean search).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on engaging outreach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively.
  • High degree of self-motivation, organization, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote, flexible environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with specific Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, Workday).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with various industry sectors (e.g., Technology, Finance, Healthcare, Manufacturing).
  • Certification in recruitment or talent acquisition from a recognized institution.
  • Prior experience working in a recruitment agency environment.
