Key Responsibilities
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, particularly those with special educational needs (SEN).
- Help prepare classroom materials, set up equipment, and tidy learning spaces.
- Monitor student progress, record observations, and provide feedback to the class teacher.
- Support the implementation of behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Supervise students during break times, lunch, and school trips as required.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to learn.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student welfare and progress.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic IT literacy for administrative tasks and educational tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- First Aid certification.
