Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Define program scope, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with product managers, engineering leads, and business stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across multiple engineering teams, product management, and other cross-functional departments.
- Identify, track, and mitigate program risks and issues, proactively developing contingency plans.
- Monitor project progress, report on status to senior leadership, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards.
- Champion agile methodologies and best practices, driving continuous improvement in development processes.
- Manage dependencies across various projects and teams, ensuring smooth integration and delivery.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning within program teams.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 6 years (72 months) of experience in technical program management, project management, or a similar leadership role within a software development environment.
- Proven experience delivering complex software, infrastructure, or platform projects.
- Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA.
- PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant project management certifications.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools to track program performance.
