Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Technical Program Manager to join our growing team in Everton, Liverpool. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional who can bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring the seamless execution of complex software and infrastructure projects. You will be instrumental in defining project scope, developing detailed plans, managing risks, and driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technical programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Define program scope, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with product managers, engineering leads, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across multiple engineering teams, product management, and other cross-functional departments.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate program risks and issues, proactively developing contingency plans.
  • Monitor project progress, report on status to senior leadership, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Champion agile methodologies and best practices, driving continuous improvement in development processes.
  • Manage dependencies across various projects and teams, ensuring smooth integration and delivery.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning within program teams.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 6 years (72 months) of experience in technical program management, project management, or a similar leadership role within a software development environment.
  • Proven experience delivering complex software, infrastructure, or platform projects.
  • Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other relevant project management certifications.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and reporting tools to track program performance.
  • Experience working in a global or distributed team environment.
