Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and curation of engaging marketing content, including blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters, specifically tailored for tourism promotion.
- Support the management of Dana Tours' social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments/messages.
- Conduct market research to identify new trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities within the tourism sector.
- Help organize and coordinate marketing campaigns and promotional events, both online and offline.
- Update and maintain website content, ensuring accuracy and compelling presentation of our tour packages and services.
- Assist with basic graphic design tasks for marketing materials using templates (e.g., flyers, banners, social media visuals).
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing activities, providing insights for future strategies.
- Liaise with internal teams to gather information and ensure consistent brand messaging across all platforms.
- Perform administrative duties to support the marketing department as needed.
Required Skills
- Proven interest or academic background in Marketing, Tourism, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and content management.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) for creating simple visuals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous part-time work, internship, or volunteer experience in marketing or the tourism industry.
