Job Description

Are you a passionate and experienced technical trainer with a flair for corporate learning? Dayforce is seeking a dynamic and skilled Trainer to join our team in Vacoas-Phoenix, Mauritius. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering high-impact technical and corporate training programs across various departments. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging corporate and technical training programs for employees at all levels, covering product knowledge, software functionalities, system processes, and professional skills.
  • Conduct thorough training needs analyses in collaboration with department heads and HR to identify skill gaps and areas for development.
  • Create comprehensive training materials, including presentations, participant guides, job aids, e-learning modules, and assessment tools.
  • Facilitate interactive workshops, classroom sessions, and virtual training, adapting delivery methods to suit diverse learning styles and audience needs.
  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics, making data-driven improvements.
  • Stay current with industry best practices in adult learning, instructional design, and emerging training technologies.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and relevance of technical content.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to reinforce learning and ensure practical application of skills.
  • Manage training schedules, logistics, and resources efficiently to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our overall learning and development strategy.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Corporate or Technical Trainer, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrable expertise in instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
  • Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp and explain complex software or system concepts.
  • Proficiency in developing engaging training materials using tools like PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certification in training, instructional design, or a relevant technical domain (e.g., CTT+, ATD certifications).
  • Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) software or enterprise-level SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content management.
  • Experience in a global or multicultural corporate environment.
