Key Responsibilities
- Manually load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles with care and efficiency.
- Verify the quantity and quality of incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests or invoices.
- Sort, organize, and stack products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring optimal space utilization.
- Operate pallet jacks and other non-powered material handling equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in picking and packing orders for outgoing shipments when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
- Participate in periodic inventory counts and stock rotation activities.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations and timely dispatch of goods.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical stamina and strength, with the ability to lift and move heavy items regularly (up to 25kg).
- Strong attention to detail for accurate loading, unloading, and inventory management.
- Ability to read and understand basic shipping documents and labels.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Basic numeracy skills for counting and verifying items.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a warehouse, logistics, or manual labor environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Experience operating manual pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment.
