Key Responsibilities
- Accurately picking and packing orders according to customer specifications and strict timelines.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, using appropriate equipment.
- Receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming stock, meticulously checking for damages or discrepancies.
- Organizing and maintaining stock levels within the warehouse, ensuring optimal space utilization and accessibility.
- Operating warehouse equipment (e.g., manual and powered pallet trucks, forklifts) if certified, or demonstrating a willingness to undergo comprehensive training to obtain certification.
- Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times to maintain a secure working environment.
- Performing general warehouse duties including housekeeping, waste management, and equipment checks to ensure cleanliness and operational efficiency.
- Participating in regular stock counts and inventory checks, assisting with discrepancy resolution.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets and improve processes.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, fostering clear interaction within the team.
