Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from designated warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanner instructions.
- Verify product quantities and descriptions against order details to prevent errors.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring products are secure and protected for transit.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Prepare packages for shipping, including labeling, weighing, and staging them for courier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily production targets and maintain workflow.
Required Skills
- Ability to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 10 PM – 6 AM).
- Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Reliable transportation to and from our West Vancouver facility during night hours.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or general warehouse worker (6+ months preferred).
- Experience operating basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift certification is a bonus).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
