Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct item counts and product integrity.
- Verify shipping details, including addresses, quantities, and product codes, against order forms and manifests.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified) safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing products for damages or discrepancies, reporting any issues immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks as required to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and external carriers to ensure smooth and timely dispatch of goods.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or shipping environment.
- Proven ability to accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
