Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in a structured training program to learn watchmaking fundamentals.
  • Observe and assist experienced watchmakers in the diagnosis, repair, and servicing of various timepieces.
  • Learn to identify different watch movements, their components, and common issues.
  • Develop proficiency in using specialized watchmaking tools and equipment, including microscopes and precision instruments.
  • Practice disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and reassembly of watch movements under supervision.
  • Assist with quality control checks to ensure accuracy, water resistance, and aesthetic standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workbench environment.
  • Adhere strictly to established procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Continuously seek to improve technical skills and knowledge through ongoing learning and practice.
  • Document work performed accurately and maintain detailed records as required.
