Career.zycto is actively seeking a dedicated and professional White Goods Delivery Driver to join our dynamic logistics team in Shoreditch, London. As a crucial member of our delivery network, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of white goods (such as refrigerators, washing machines, ovens, etc.) to residential and commercial properties across London and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on punctuality, careful handling, and a friendly approach, ensuring every delivery strengthens our reputation. You will operate modern, well-maintained vehicles, often working with a driver’s mate for heavier items, ensuring all deliveries are made on schedule and with the utmost care. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently transport white goods to various locations within London and surrounding areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles, often with the assistance of a driver's mate, ensuring goods are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Adhere to all road safety regulations, company policies, and customer service standards.
  • Conduct pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
  • Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, including clear communication and professional conduct.
  • Manage delivery documentation, obtaining signatures and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
  • Navigate routes efficiently using GPS and local knowledge.
  • Assist with basic installation or positioning of appliances as required by customers.
  • Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the delivery vehicle.

Required Skills

  • Valid UK Driving Licence (Category B minimum, C1 preferred)
  • Clean driving record
  • Proven experience in multi-drop delivery, ideally with large items or white goods
  • Excellent physical fitness, capable of lifting heavy items safely
  • Strong geographical knowledge of London and surrounding areas
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating 3.5-ton or 7.5-ton vehicles
  • Current Driver CPC qualification
  • Previous experience working as part of a two-person delivery team
  • Basic knowledge of white goods installation procedures
