Job Description
Are you a meticulous and analytical professional with a passion for employee benefits and a desire for flexible work arrangements? PwC is seeking a dedicated Work from Home Benefits Analyst to join our dynamic HR team, based out of our Birmingham hub. In this remote-first role, you will play a crucial part in the administration, analysis, and communication of our comprehensive employee benefits programmes across the UK. You will be responsible for ensuring our benefits offerings remain competitive, compliant, and effectively support the wellbeing and engagement of our people. You will engage with various stakeholders, including HR Business Partners, external vendors, and employees, providing expert insights and ensuring the smooth operation of all benefit-related processes. Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage various employee benefit programmes, including health, pension, life assurance, and wellbeing initiatives, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
 - Conduct regular analysis of benefits data, trends, and market benchmarks to inform strategy and identify areas for improvement or cost efficiencies.
 - Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on benefits utilization, costs, and effectiveness for HR leadership and senior management.
 - Liaise with external benefits vendors and brokers to ensure service level agreements are met and to resolve any escalated employee queries or issues.
 - Develop and deliver clear, concise communication materials to employees regarding their benefits options, changes, and eligibility.
 - Ensure all benefits programmes comply with relevant UK legislation, including GDPR, pension regulations, and tax implications.
 - Support the annual benefits enrollment process, including system configuration, testing, and employee support.
 - Participate in ad-hoc benefits projects, such as programme design, implementation of new benefits, or integration during mergers and acquisitions.
 
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in benefits administration or analysis within a fast-paced corporate environment.
 - Strong understanding of UK employee benefits legislation and best practices.
 - Proficiency in HR Information Systems (HRIS) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis).
 - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.
 - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex information clearly.
 - Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work setting.
 - Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
 - Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIPD, IFEBP CEBS designation).
 - Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other major HRIS platforms.
 - Project management experience within an HR or benefits context.
