Job Description

Hotel Splendid Muhanga is seeking a dedicated Massage Therapist to join our new, state-of-the-art wellness facility. As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing a range of therapeutic and relaxation massage services to our diverse clientele, including hotel guests and local patrons. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing client needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and executing various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and potentially local Rwandan-inspired techniques. Key Responsibilities
- Perform various massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy) tailored to client needs.
- Conduct client consultations to identify specific requirements, preferences, and medical considerations.
- Develop and recommend personalized treatment plans for guests.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tranquil treatment room and ensure all equipment is sanitized.
- Educate clients on massage benefits and provide post-treatment care advice.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and accurately.
- Promote wellness center services and retail products.
- Adhere strictly to hygiene, safety, and confidentiality protocols.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills in massage therapy techniques and wellness trends.
- Collaborate with other wellness center staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Proven certification/diploma in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution.
- In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and various massage modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach.
