Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional massage and body treatments for guests following established protocols and individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough client consultations, assessing their health, medical history, and specific preferences to recommend and customize treatments.
- Maintain immaculate hygiene standards for treatment rooms, equipment, and personal presentation.
- Ensure client comfort and privacy at all times, upholding strict confidentiality.
- Educate clients on the benefits of their chosen treatments and provide aftercare advice for sustained well-being.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and accurately, ensuring timely service delivery.
- Proactively recommend and promote spa products and services to enhance the client's experience and contribute to sales goals.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge of new techniques and products.
- Collaborate effectively with the I Spa team to maintain a cohesive and high-performing wellness environment.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and a positive attitude, aiming for complete guest satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Certified Massage Therapist qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a Massage Therapist, preferably in a spa or luxury hotel setting.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, and Hot Stone.
- Exceptional client consultation and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and contraindications.
- Impeccable personal hygiene and professional presentation.
- Ability to create a relaxing and therapeutic environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Fluency in English and French (both verbal and written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certifications in specialized massage modalities (e.g., Lomi Lomi, Reflexology, Thai Massage).
- Experience with spa software and booking systems.
- Knowledge of other wellness therapies or aesthetic treatments.
- Previous experience working in a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
- Multilingual abilities beyond English and French.
