Key Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by cleaning, digging, and setting up necessary equipment and materials.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently (e.g., shovels, rakes, jackhammers, saws).
- Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, plumbers, and electricians.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding, temporary structures, and site barriers.
- Perform general labouring duties, including pouring concrete, mixing mortar, and laying bricks/blocks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper waste disposal.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant occupational health and safety regulations.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and project managers accurately and promptly.
- Report any potential hazards or incidents on site to immediate superiors.
