Job Description
The Part-Time Inventory Cycle Counter at Career.zycto plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our partners’ inventory records in Chibuto, Gaza Province. This position is ideal for an individual with a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently within a structured environment. You will be responsible for conducting frequent physical counts of inventory items across various storage locations within the warehouse or facility, systematically checking stock against digital records, and meticulously reconciling any discrepancies found. This role is fundamental to maintaining an efficient supply chain and supporting informed decision-making across the operation.
Your primary goal will be to identify and investigate inventory variances promptly, helping to maintain optimal stock levels, prevent stockouts or overstock situations, and ultimately minimize financial losses due to inaccuracies. This position requires a highly methodical approach, excellent organizational skills, and the physical stamina to move around the facility, including standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting and moving inventory items weighing up to 25 kg. You will be expected to operate basic warehouse equipment if necessary (e.g., hand pallet jacks) and adhere strictly to safety protocols.
You will work closely with the warehouse management and operations teams, reporting findings, documenting issues, and actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing inventory control processes. We are looking for someone who takes immense pride in their work, understands the critical importance of accurate inventory data for overall business success, and is committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This part-time opportunity offers flexible working hours, making it an excellent choice for individuals seeking to balance work with other personal or academic commitments while gaining invaluable, hands-on experience in supply chain management and logistics. If you are detail-oriented, highly reliable, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and are ready to contribute significantly to a thriving operational environment, we strongly encourage you to apply. Your contribution directly impacts operational flow and customer satisfaction.
