Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Review, annotate, and categorize large volumes of diverse data (text, numerical, etc.) to ensure high-quality input for AI/ML model training.
- Perform rigorous quality assurance on annotated datasets, identifying and correcting inconsistencies, errors, and potential biases.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, AI engineers, and product teams to understand data requirements and provide feedback on data quality and annotation guidelines.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of data labeling guidelines and best practices.
- Monitor data trends, identify common issues, and propose solutions for improving data collection and annotation processes.
- Maintain detailed documentation of review processes, findings, and resolutions.
- Stay informed about the latest developments in AI, machine learning, and data annotation methodologies.
- Ensure all data handling and review processes adhere to CIBC's strict compliance, privacy, and security standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data review, data entry, quality assurance, or a similar detail-oriented role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills with a proven ability to identify patterns and discrepancies in data.
- Proficiency in using data annotation tools and database management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
- Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
