Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians and supervisors with various construction tasks, including site preparation, material handling, and equipment setup.
- Learn to operate and maintain basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Participate in the measurement, cutting, and installation of construction materials such as wood, metal, concrete, and piping.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Support the team in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring proper storage of tools and materials.
- Document progress and report any issues or discrepancies to the supervising technician.
- Engage in continuous learning, attending training sessions and demonstrating initiative in skill development.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Required Skills
- Minimum of SSCE/WASSCE certificate or equivalent.
