Key Responsibilities
- Receive and accurately process guest room service orders via phone or in-person.
- Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely and professional manner, ensuring correct setup and presentation.
- Set up trays and carts according to established standards, paying close attention to detail and guest preferences.
- Present bills and collect payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with integrity.
- Clear used dishes and trays from guest rooms and hallways promptly and discreetly, maintaining a clean environment.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders, special requests, dietary restrictions, and potential delays.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service pantry, equipment, and storage areas.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations, including proper food handling.
- Anticipate guest needs, provide recommendations, and respond to inquiries with a friendly, helpful, and courteous attitude.
- Collaborate seamlessly with other hotel departments (e.g., front desk, housekeeping) to ensure a cohesive and outstanding guest service experience.
