Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough credit assessments and financial analysis of corporate and individual clients to determine creditworthiness and risk levels.
- Develop, implement, and monitor credit risk models, policies, and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and company risk appetite.
- Prepare comprehensive credit reports and present findings and recommendations to senior management and relevant committees.
- Proactively identify emerging risks and trends in various market sectors, proposing timely adjustments to risk strategies.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and legal departments to structure credit facilities and negotiate terms that balance business objectives with risk mitigation.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory guidelines (e.g., Basel III, MaRisk), and best industry practices.
- Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing credit exposures, conducting periodic reviews and stress testing to assess potential deterioration.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of risk management frameworks and analytical tools.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and credit analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in risk modeling, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with risk management software is a plus.
