Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets, offering personalized recommendations.
- Research, plan, and book travel arrangements including flights, hotels, car rentals, cruises, tours, and activities.
- Provide accurate information on destinations, travel restrictions, visa requirements, health precautions, and local customs.
- Process bookings, issue tickets, and handle payments efficiently and accurately using various reservation systems.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Stay informed about current travel trends, industry changes, and new travel products.
- Assist clients with travel insurance, passport, and visa application processes, particularly for sponsored candidates.
- Resolve any travel-related issues, complaints, or emergencies promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role.
- Proficiency in global distribution systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong geographical knowledge and understanding of international travel regulations.
- Proven sales aptitude and ability to meet targets.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant travel and tourism diploma or degree.
