Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and review title orders and related documentation.
  • Conduct thorough research of public records, including county clerk, court, and tax records, to ascertain property ownership and identify encumbrances.
  • Analyze legal descriptions, deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, and other instruments impacting real property.
  • Identify potential title issues suchances as easements, liens, or undisclosed heirs.
  • Organize and maintain accurate documentation and research findings.
  • Communicate findings and collaborate with senior examiners and other team members.
  • Learn and apply state and local regulations pertaining to real estate title examination.
  • Utilize title software and other digital tools for research and report generation.
  • Assist in the preparation of preliminary title reports and commitments.
