Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team in Altrincham on a commission basis. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of hair services including cutting, styling, colouring (highlights, balayage, full colour), and various hair treatments.
- Provide expert consultations to clients, assessing their needs and recommending suitable styles, colours, and products.
- Build and maintain a strong client base through exceptional service, rebooking, and referrals.
- Stay current with the latest hairdressing trends, techniques, and product knowledge through continuous learning and salon training.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workstation and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the salon.
- Actively promote salon services and retail products to clients.
- Manage client appointments efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards of the salon.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience as a Hair Stylist in a salon environment.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Hairdressing (or equivalent recognized qualification).
- Proven expertise in a wide range of cutting, styling, and advanced colouring techniques.
- Strong client communication and consultation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
- A professional, friendly, and positive attitude.
