Key Responsibilities
- Perform engaging and high-quality DJ sets as per the venue's musical direction and guest preferences.
- Curate diverse playlists suitable for various times and events, demonstrating versatility across genres.
- Maintain and expand a comprehensive music library, staying current with new releases and timeless classics.
- Operate and troubleshoot professional DJ equipment, including turntables, mixers, and sound systems.
- Engage with the audience, responding to their energy and requests while maintaining artistic integrity.
- Collaborate with venue management and marketing teams to align music programming with promotional events.
- Ensure timely setup and breakdown of equipment, adhering to venue schedules.
- Adhere to all venue policies, health and safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
- Provide an exceptional entertainment experience that encourages repeat visitation and positive word-of-mouth.
- Act as a professional and personable representative of the venue at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of professional DJ experience in a live venue setting.
- Proficiency with industry-standard DJ software (e.g., Serato DJ, rekordbox, Traktor) and hardware.
- Extensive music knowledge across multiple genres (e.g., House, R&B, Pop, Commercial, Disco).
- Exceptional beat-matching, mixing, and scratching skills.
