Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Verify quantities and types of goods received against shipping documents, reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Sort and organize items in the loading bay and designated storage areas, ensuring proper stacking and accessibility.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and effectively.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the loading bay area.
- Participate in regular inventory checks and contribute to accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all company safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist with packing and preparing outgoing shipments for dispatch.
