Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of barbering services including haircuts, shaves (hot towel and straight razor), beard trims, and styling.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering professional advice on styles and hair care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and assist with walk-in clients.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, encouraging repeat business through exceptional service.
- Promote and sell hair care products, providing expert recommendations to clients.
- Stay updated on the latest barbering trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
- Collaborate positively with team members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable salon experience for all clients.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Barber, demonstrating proficiency in various cutting techniques for all hair types.
- Expertise in hot towel shaves and straight razor work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Strong understanding of hygiene and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Barbering or equivalent qualification.
- Existing loyal client base is a plus, but not essential.
