Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for outbound shipment, ensuring all items are correctly counted and packaged.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, in a safe and efficient manner (certification or willingness to train provided).
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse floor, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Inspect products for damages or defects, reporting any issues to the supervisor immediately.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve operational challenges.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and containers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, sorting, and record-keeping.
- Excellent physical stamina, endurance, and manual dexterity.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for reading labels and performing simple calculations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, technologies, and equipment.
