Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product quantity, quality, and item numbers before packaging.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification or willingness to train required).
- Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and staging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock rotation as needed.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Load and unload trucks as required, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout a shift.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and stoop for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Reliable transportation and excellent punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, or order picking role.
- Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Certified to operate a forklift, reach truck, or pallet jack.
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures.
- Experience in a fast-paced production or distribution environment.
