This position is designed for DJs who appreciate autonomy and the freedom to manage their own schedule. While events are predominantly on-site across various Sydney locations, the hours are entirely flexible, aligning with your availability and the specific demands of each booking. You’ll be responsible for transporting, setting up, and dismantling your own professional-grade DJ equipment, including turntables/CDJs, mixers, speakers, and basic lighting, ensuring pristine sound quality and a captivating visual presence. Maintaining your equipment in excellent working order and troubleshooting minor technical issues independently will be part of your routine, demonstrating your self-sufficiency and dedication to your craft.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and curate appropriate music selections to match event themes and client preferences.
- Transport, set up, and dismantle professional DJ equipment and sound systems.
- Perform live DJ sets at various mobile events including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
- Engage with guests, manage song requests, and maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere.
- Conduct pre-event consultations with clients to understand their vision and requirements.
- Ensure timely arrival and departure from event venues.
- Maintain all personal DJ equipment in excellent working condition and troubleshoot minor technical issues.

- Adhere to event timelines and coordinate effectively with other vendors and event staff.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a professional mobile DJ with a strong portfolio of past events.
- Expert knowledge of various music genres and ability to read and adapt to crowd dynamics.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting professional DJ equipment (CDJs, turntables, mixers, PA systems).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple event details.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various event locations across Sydney.
- High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Formal training or certifications in sound engineering or music production.
