Key Responsibilities
- Draft, proofread, and format various legal documents (e.g., pleadings, contracts, correspondence).
- Conduct preliminary legal research to support ongoing cases and provide insights.
- Manage and organise physical and electronic case files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Liaise effectively with clients, counsel, court personnel, and external stakeholders.
- Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls professionally.
- Assist with billing, expenses, and general administrative tasks as required.
- Prepare court bundles and assist with court preparation.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to professional ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar administrative legal role (minimum 18 months).
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and administrative procedures.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications
