Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of premises, both uniformed and covert, to deter and detect theft, fraud, and other illicit activities.
- Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) to identify suspicious behavior or security breaches.
- Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely and effective manner.
- Apprehend individuals suspected of theft or other policy violations, following established legal and company guidelines.
- Prepare detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities.
- Collaborate with management, law enforcement, and other security personnel as needed.
- Educate employees on loss prevention policies and procedures to foster a culture of awareness.
- Conduct inventory control checks and assist with investigations into inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence to ensure guest and employee safety and deter potential threats.
- Assist with internal investigations related to loss or policy violations.
