Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of clinical laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and microbiology screening, accurately and efficiently.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment, troubleshooting minor issues as they arise.
- Collect, process, and handle patient specimens according to established safety and quality control protocols.
- Document test results precisely, maintain accurate records, and ensure patient confidentiality.
- Communicate critical lab findings to physicians and nursing staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Adhere strictly to all laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., CLIA, CAP).
