Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order sheets and scanning technology.
- Verify product quantity, quality, and item numbers before packaging to prevent errors.
- Efficiently package items to prevent damage during transit, utilizing appropriate packing materials.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment safely and responsibly (training provided if necessary).
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for loading and shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any discrepancies or issues.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy targets for order fulfillment.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Chatham, Miramichi facility for night shifts.
