Are you a highly creative and experienced photographer with a passion for capturing compelling images? Career.zycto is seeking a talented Photographer with a flexible schedule to join our dynamic network of creative professionals in Leith, Edinburgh. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualising, executing, and delivering high-quality visual content that meets client briefs and exceeds expectations. Key Responsibilities
- Execute photographic assignments, including but not limited to portraits, events, products, and marketing materials, according to client briefs and specifications.
- Operate and maintain professional camera equipment, lighting, and accessories.
- Demonstrate proficiency in various shooting environments, including studio, on-location, and outdoor settings.
- Perform comprehensive post-production work, including editing, retouching, and colour correction using industry-standard software.
- Manage and organise digital assets effectively, ensuring proper archiving and retrieval.
- Collaborate with clients and creative teams to understand project requirements and provide expert advice on visual solutions.
- Ensure all deliverables meet high quality standards and are submitted within agreed timelines.
- Stay updated with current photography trends, techniques, and equipment.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanour, representing Career.zycto with excellence.
Required Skills
- Expert proficiency in digital photography techniques and camera operation (DSLR/Mirrorless).
- Advanced skills in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom for photo editing and retouching.
- Strong understanding of lighting principles, composition, and colour theory.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing diverse photographic styles and technical expertise.
- Ability to adapt to various client needs and project demands with a flexible approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with video production and editing.
- Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite applications (e.g., Illustrator, InDesign).
- Knowledge of local Leith/Edinburgh locations for shoots.
- Possession of own professional photography equipment and reliable transport.
