Key Responsibilities
- Shadow and assist experienced Warehouse Supervisors in daily operations.
- Learn and understand all aspects of warehouse functions, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
- Become proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Observe and learn effective team leadership, communication, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Support the training and onboarding of new warehouse associates.
- Identify potential areas for process improvement and contribute to efficiency initiatives.
- Handle administrative tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.
- Gradually take on increased responsibilities under direct supervision.
